Swiggy co-founder Rahul Jaimini steps down

Rahul Jaimini, Swiggy co-founder and chief technology officer has quit the online food ordering firm.

 

Jaimini will continue to be a shareholder and board member of the online delivery unicorn.

 

Responsiblites, led by Jaimini such as platform engineering, analytics, IT, and Swiggy Labs, will now report to Dale Vaz, the head of engineering and data science.

 

Jaimini will join Pesto Tech, a career accelerator startup, as a co-founder.

 

“Technology was crucial to what we set out to build when we started Swiggy... Rahul is a close friend of ours and we wish him nothing but the best as he goes on to pursue what he has planned next,” said Majety, CEO, Swiggy.

 

Jaimini co-founded Swiggy along with Sriharsha Majety and Nandan Reddy in 2014. 

 

“Swiggy’s investors continue to put their trust in the company’s leadership and their ability to execute towards… offering unparalleled convenience to consumers,” the online delivery unicorn said in a statement.
